Background

In late March 2007 Nevada Covering Kids and Families (CKF) implemented what would be the first of several Nevada Check Up and Medicaid workshops. The CKF Training Program has expanded to include not only these Nevada Check Up and Medicaid Workshops, but now also a Train the Trainer Application Assistance Course on Nevada Check Up and Medicaid.

The "Train the Trainer Course" leverages Nevada's human resources to provide more educational trainings on Nevada Check Up and Medicaid to others in the community. More trainings leads to Community organizations with trained staff to assist those in need, which in turn leads to a better served community.

The Train the Trainer Course is supported by a grant from the 
United Way of Southern Nevada.
