A Medical Program For Those In Need!
In 1967, Nevada implemented a federal and state funded medical program called Medicaid with the passage of Title XIX of the Social Security Act. The purpose of this program is to provide medically necessary health care and related services to Medicaid eligible persons.
How do you Apply?
If you feel that your income and assets fall within the Medicaid guidelines, you need to apply for Nevada Medicaid.
To apply you can download the application from our website or pick one up in person at the nearest Nevada State Welfare District Office.
Your application and supporting documents must be delivered to the nearest Welfare office to your residence.

Once the application is submitted, a decision is made within 45 days from the date of the application.
